We are a quaint Catholic Christian book & gift store and coffee house located in Coquitlam, British Columbia, a suburb of Vancouver, in the heart of the community of Maillardville. Our store is uniquely set-up in a renovated heritage home (circa 1930’s) in a cozy location making it unique in all of Canada.

Featuring Catholic Christian books, CDs and gifts you will be pleasantly surprised to find that we also offer a cozy environment to meet up with friends and chat over a cup of coffee and a sandwich. At JOYFUL NOISE Books & Gifts you can experience shopping and fellowship in comfort.

What’s in a name?

The name of the store “Joyful Noise”, comes from Psalm 100 which directs us to “make a joyful noise to the Lord” in thanksgiving. Both the store and our music ministry fills us with joy and gratitude, so we thought the name very appropriate!

JOYFUL NOISE Books & Gifts Ltd. is owned and operated by Patrick & Peggy Maas who make their home in Coquitlam and worship at St. Clare of Assisi Parish where they lead music as the Elijah Music Ministry.
